Redefining Structural Bonding

PA (Polyamide / Nylon) hot melt adhesive film is a non-elastic, rigid thermoplastic bonding film. Different from elastic TPU and soft jelly TPE films, this co-polyamide based film maintains stable hardness and zero ductility after lamination. It remains non-sticky at room temperature and achieves double-sided strong adhesion under thermal pressing.

TPU Film

TPU Film

Medium elasticity, high viscosity. Ideal for standard industrial applications.

TPE Jelly Film

Jelly TPE Film

Ultra soft & breathable. Designed for intimate apparel and comfort wear.

Standard Lamination Process

1

Preparation

Keep fabric and leather clean, oil-free and dust-free.

2

Stacking

Place PA film on base material with release paper facing up.

3

Hot Press

Temp: 130-160℃
Pressure: 0.2MPa
Time: 10-30s

4

Cooling

Cool naturally, then tear off the release paper.

5

Secondary

Cover second material and perform secondary hot pressing.

6

Inspection

Test peeling strength after complete cooling.

Quality Assurance

Common Defects & Troubleshooting

As an industry-leading manufacturer of functional films, hrs provides professional troubleshooting guidelines to ensure optimal lamination performance and product quality in your manufacturing process.

01 Insufficient Adhesion
Reason Analysis

Low temperature, uneven pressure, or incomplete cooling before peeling the release paper.

02 Glue Overflow
Reason Analysis

Excessive temperature during application or pressing time that is too long.

03 Bubbles Inside
Reason Analysis

Unclean material surface, or rapid heating without adequate preheating.

04 White Fog Mark
Reason Analysis

Humid storage environment leading to moisture absorption by the adhesive film.

Industrial Manufacturing

Prohibited Usage Rules

  • High Temperature Peeling

Do not peel release paper under high temperature (causes residual glue).

  • Rapid Cooling

Avoid rapid cold wind cooling immediately after hot pressing.

  • Over-stacking

Do not stack heavy goods for more than 3 layers during storage.

  • Sunlight Exposure

Strictly prohibit direct sunlight long-term exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions

PA Exclusive Differentiated Questions

What is the essential difference between PA, TPU and TPE film?
PA film is non-elastic rigid adhesive film focused on dry cleaning resistance and shaping effect. TPU is elastic industrial film for bags and shoes. TPE is ultra-soft breathable film for intimate apparel. Three series are positioned for completely different application scenarios.
Is PA film suitable for luxury garments?
Absolutely yes. PA film is the mainstream adhesive material for high-end tailored garments. It can withstand repeated dry cleaning without degumming, which cannot be replaced by TPU and TPE materials.
Does transparent PA film have yellowing risk?
No. Modified co-polyamide raw material provides level 4 anti-yellowing performance. The transparency remains unchanged for a long time without aging fogging.
Can PA film bond wood and paper materials?
Yes. PA has excellent polarity adhesion, which is far better than TPU in bonding non-polar materials such as wood, paper and sponge.
Can I get free PA film samples?
Certainly. We provide customized sample kits for garment factories, leather processing plants and industrial composite manufacturers. Customers only need to bear the freight cost.
