TPE Adhesive Film • Soft & Flexible Bonding

TPE Hot Melt Adhesive Film for Soft & Flexible Bonding

TPE hot melt adhesive film is a heat-activated thermoplastic elastomer adhesive designed for soft, flexible bonding. It can be evaluated for textile, elastic fabric, wearable-product and other flexible laminations where elasticity, hand feel and conformability are important. Final selection should consider both substrates, processing temperature, stretch requirements and end-use conditions.

Jelly TPE Adhesive Film

What Is TPE Hot Melt Adhesive Film?

TPE hot melt adhesive film is a solid thermoplastic elastomer adhesive that softens and flows when heated, then forms a flexible bond after cooling. Selected TPE formulations are designed for applications where softness, elasticity and deformation compatibility are important. Bonding performance depends on the TPE grade, substrate surfaces, film thickness and lamination conditions.

Our TPE adhesive film is available in grades designed for soft and elastic laminates. The film remains non-tacky at room temperature and becomes heat-activated during lamination, creating a flexible adhesive layer between compatible substrates.

  • Pure TPE Material

Designed for soft textile and wearable-product laminates where flexibility and comfortable hand feel are important. Compliance requirements should be confirmed for the selected grade and intended end use.

  • Custom Embossed Patterns

Various textures available to meet strict breathability and structural requirements.

Core Product Advantages

Engineered for ultimate performance, comfort, and durability in premium textiles.

Elasticity & Recovery

Selected TPE adhesive film grades are designed to stretch with flexible substrates while maintaining a soft hand feel. Elasticity and recovery vary by film grade, thickness and laminate construction, so final performance should be verified with the actual materials.

Patterned Structure Options

Patterned structures such as round holes, grid, ripple or rhombus designs can reduce adhesive coverage and help preserve air and moisture pathways in suitable textile laminates. Final breathability depends on the complete laminate structure.

Environmental Documentation Available

Selected grades can be supplied with relevant compliance documentation according to product and customer requirements. Please confirm the specific TPE grade and required standard with our team before production use.

Smooth & Discreet Bonding

Selected transparent or translucent TPE adhesive film grades can provide a smooth, low-profile bond line in suitable laminates. They can support seamless bonding designs where reduced stitching and a soft appearance are required.

Wash & Flex Durability

Selected TPE adhesive films can maintain flexible bonding after repeated washing and deformation when matched with suitable substrates and processing conditions. Final wash resistance should be verified on the actual laminate under the customer's required test conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Expert answers for TPE Apparel Film selection and processing.

What is the difference between TPE jelly film and TPU hot melt film?
TPE and TPU hot melt adhesive films can both be used for flexible bonding, but their performance depends on the specific formulation. Selected TPE grades are often chosen when a very soft hand feel and elastic deformation are priorities, while selected TPU grades can offer different combinations of elasticity, transparency, bonding strength and durability. The best choice depends on the substrates and end-use requirements.
Which model is best for seamless underwear?
ZPSKE40 and SFE30 can be considered as starting options for seamless underwear bonding where a thin adhesive layer and soft hand feel are important. Final suitability depends on both fabrics, processing conditions and finished-product requirements. Breathability and skin-contact performance should be confirmed through applicable testing when required.
Why does TPE film sometimes have weak bonding force?
Weak bonding can result from insufficient adhesive melting, unsuitable temperature or pressure, short dwell time, poor substrate wetting, surface treatments, contamination, or an incompatible TPE grade. Processing conditions vary by film model, thickness, substrate and equipment, so final settings should be confirmed through actual-material lamination trials.
Can I request TPE adhesive film samples for testing?
Yes. Please provide your required TPE film grade, substrate materials, application and delivery country. We can review suitable sample options and confirm sample availability, costs and freight arrangements before shipment.
Is this TPE film thermoplastic? Can it be reheated?
TPE hot melt adhesive film is thermoplastic, so the adhesive can soften again when reheated. However, repeated heating may affect bond quality, film structure or the substrates. Reprocessing conditions should therefore be evaluated for the selected TPE grade and actual laminate.
What materials can TPE hot melt adhesive film bond?
TPE hot melt adhesive film can be evaluated for selected textiles, elastic fabrics and other flexible laminates. Bonding depends on the surface chemistry and treatment of both substrates, as well as film grade, temperature, pressure and dwell time. We recommend testing the actual materials before production.
