Innovative Lamination Technology

Breathable Composite
Bonding Solutions

Solve the industry dilemma of balancing strong bonding with breathable comfort. Our hot melt adhesive web technology achieves flat lamination without blocking microporous structures, ensuring long-term breathability, moisture permeability, and a soft hand feel.

Breathable Fabric Lamination

Redefining Breathability in Flexible Composites

Breathability is a critical performance metric for textiles, footwear, upholstery, and medical supplies. We eliminate the traditional trade-off between durable bonding and optimal comfort.

Advanced Mesh Film Technology for Uncompromised Airflow

Traditional solid adhesives often cause poor ventilation, trapped moisture, blistering, and stiffness. Our breathable hot-melt adhesive mesh film perfectly resolves these industry pain points. By maintaining the substrate's original micro-porous structure, it ensures flawless lamination without sacrificing comfort.

  • Long-lasting breathability & moisture permeability preventing stuffiness and internal condensation
  • Exceptional bonding strength that eliminates the risk of surface blistering and delamination
  • Maintains natural drape and soft hand-feel, preserving the original flexibility of the materials
  • Versatile multi-industry application spanning apparel, footwear, bags, furniture, and medical supplies

Solid Hot Melt Film Structure
Product Name Breathability Level Core Characteristics Suitable Applications
TPU Hot Melt Adhesive Film
Very low (micro-permeable) Dense non-porous material, only minimal molecular moisture transmission, no air convection, excellent waterproof. Waterproof sealing, flex-resistant, high-strength composites; not for breathable soft fabrics.
TPE Hot Melt Adhesive Film
Non-breathable Solid dense structure, completely blocks substrate micropores, no air passage. Soft sealing, anti-vibration bonding, waterproof composites – no breathability requirement.
PA Hot Melt Adhesive Film
Non-breathable Full-coverage solid layer, good sealing; large-area lamination can trap air and cause stuffiness. General sealing composites, furniture bonding – for breathable applications, replace with PA mesh.
PES Hot Melt Adhesive Film
Completely non-breathable Extremely dense and stable adhesive layer; best sealing, waterproof, and weather resistance. Outdoor waterproof, moisture-proof, anti-corrosion high-durability structural composites – strictly not for breathable products.
EVA Hot Melt Adhesive Film
Non-breathable Dense texture, strong barrier property, completely blocks air flow; cost-effective sealing. General sealing composites, packaging bonding, rigid-soft composites with no breathability requirement.
PO/EAA Hot Melt Adhesive Film
Non-breathable Polar dense structure, strong adhesion, excellent sealing barrier, no air convection channel. Sealing bonding for hard-to-bond materials, inert material bonding (metal/plastic).

Technical FAQs & Solutions

Expert answers to common mass production challenges.

Why does breathability decrease after bonding with mesh web?
A qualified mesh itself does not block pores. Breathability reduction is usually process-related: excessive temperature melts and collapses the grid, excessive pressure deforms the pores, or silicone/oil on the substrate surface blocks micropores. Strict control of low-temperature, low-pressure processes is required.
Why does breathable composite delaminate or blister after storage?
This is not weak bonding, but residual hidden moisture and trapped air between layers. Solid films easily trap air. If the mesh process does not fully exhaust air, accumulated moisture lifts the surface layer. Solution: Use staged slow exhaust + holding pressure cooling.
How to achieve both high breathability and wash resistance?
For apparel fabrics, choose ultra-fine high-density PA mesh (uniform pores with dense anchor points). For elastic dynamic applications, choose high-elastic TPU mesh for excellent deformation synchronization, ensuring no delamination after washing.
Does breathable hot melt bonding meet environmental standards?
Yes. All our breathable mesh webs and functional films are solvent-free, formaldehyde-free, and halogen-free. They comply with REACH, RoHS, and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, suitable for next-to-skin apparel and medical textiles.
