Frequently Asked Questions

Expert insights on our hot-melt adhesive films, specifications, and application guidelines.

How do I choose between TPU and PA adhesive film?
TPU is ideal for applications requiring high elasticity and a soft touch, such as seamless underwear and sportswear. PA is better suited for applications requiring excellent dry-cleanability and high adhesion to fabrics.
Can I request a custom thickness or width?
Different thicknesses and widths can be customized, but there are upper limits to the customizable specifications for each model. For example, the maximum width of TPU hot melt adhesive film with backing paper is no more than 1600mm, and there are minimum order quantities required for customized specifications.
What is the shelf life of your hot melt adhesive films?
When stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and humidity, our films have a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. We recommend keeping them sealed in their original packaging to maintain optimal performance.
What temperature and pressure settings do I need to apply the film correctly?
Application parameters vary slightly by material: For TPU films, we recommend 120–140°C, 2–5 bar pressure, and 10–20 seconds of dwell time. For PA films, use 140–160°C to ensure full activation. We always recommend running a small trial on your actual fabric first to fine-tune the settings.
Do your films meet global safety and environmental standards?
Yes. All our hot melt adhesive films comply with REACH, RoHS, and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 requirements. They are free of harmful substances like formaldehyde and heavy metals, making them safe for use in apparel, intimate wear, and baby products.
